Lightening the Load for a Greener Future

 

In November and December 2023, EasyJet partnered with CH-Aero to validate a new, lighter paint coating as part of their sustainability ambitions. The goal: reduce fuel consumption by cutting excess weight, one aircraft at a time.

 

We conducted four certified weighings, two before and two after the repainting process, to measure the exact impact. The result: a 27 kg weight reduction per aircraft, which adds up quickly when applied fleet-wide.
